Louisville recruit and native James Quick was honored last week at Trinity High School for being selected as an Army All American. Quick, a 6-foot-1 wide receiver will compete in the All American game on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. Bob Beatty, Quick’s coach at Trinity High School will coach the East team in the game.
The last we’d heard, Quick had the Louisville Cardinals at the top of his list, but was still considering other schools. As of late last week that hasn’t changed. Quick told the media that Louisville, Ohio State, Oregon, UK, and Tennessee (in that order) were his current top five. Ohio State has been thought to be Louisville’s only real competition for Quick. He’ll take an official visit to Columbus on Nov. 24 for Ohio State’s game against Michigan.

Rick Pitino and the Louisville basketball program are expecting to receive signed letters of intent today from their four commitments from the 2013 class.
