The brothers of Omega Psi Phi everywhere are going to love the suit Jarran Reed wore to the NFL Draft.

Reed played offensive tackle at Alabama, but he left many Crimson Tide fans confused with his wardrobe choice. Rather than wearing crimson, he was wearing purple and gold — the colors of SEC rival LSU. But don’t fret; the colors had nothing to do with LSU, but all to do with Reed’s fraternity. He told NFL Network’s Michael Irving that the suit was a nod to his frat Omega Psi Phi.

“For my fraternity, Omega Psi Phi. For all the brothers out there, you know I had to do it, clean it up with the purple and gold,” Reed said as he threw up the Psi.

You can see the omega on his tie and pin on his lapel.

Omega Psi Phi is a traditionally black fraternity that was started at Howard University. Athletes like Michael Jordan, Shaq, Vince Carter, Ray Lewis and Steve McNair were among the famous Omega Psi Phi brothers.
