Jeff Driskel is the Florida Gators quarterback who won the starting job over Jacoby Brissett. He has been putting up video game like numbers and has helped propelled the Gators to 4-0. Now he is cracking jokes on Twitter since Florida has a bye week. UF’s bar that is on campus called Orange and Brew apparently has a guy who runs a 4.1 second 40 yard dash and happens to have a sweet pony tail. Guy working at Orange and Brew ran a 4.1 in high school. We can use him next weekend. #hehasaponytail — Jeff Driskel (@jeffdriskel) September 28, 2012 Orange and Brew is the only bar on campus that serves alcohol. Maybe this guy has some eligibility and can return kicks.

Gators' Debose turns out to be letdown

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- It no doubt wasn't fair for former Florida coach Urban Meyer to compare receiver Andre Debose to Percy Harvin before he even stepped on campus. Harvin was one of the top playmakers in school history. He turned short passes into huge gains, made defenders look silly with open-field moves and probably would have been a Heisman Trophy contender had he...

Driskel Making Necessary Reads

After seven Florida players caught passes in each of the first two SEC games, there were ten players that caught at least one pass on Saturday against Kentucky. The competition and atmosphere weren’t the same as the first two road games, but quarterback Jeff Driskel was able to spread the ball around more than any game this year. A Florida Gator alumnus urinated on the FSU exit sign

A Florida Gator fan and Alumnus happened to be passing through Tallahassee this weekend and decided to make a pit stop on the exit to FSU. He urinated on the sign as a UF prank on FSU. Hey, if Florida can’t beat FSU on the field, they can still pull stunts like this. This guy happens to have attended UF when I was there and is known for pulling pranks such as these. Both the Florida...

LSU Run Game Presents New Challenges

After facing offenses like Tennessee and Texas A&M that wanted to throw the ball, the Gators are using the bye week to prepare for something different. LSU will bring a power, two-back run game to Gainesville on October 6. It’s an offensive scheme that gave Florida nightmares throughout the 2011 season, including its trip to Baton Rouge. The Gators have two weeks to prepare to stop it.
