There are unlikely to be any changes in the BCS top five beginning week 12 unless there are some unexpected upsets this weekend. Four out of the top five BCS teams are playing on the road, but mostly against weak competition. Week 11 opponents of Georgia, Notre Dame, and Oregon have a combined record of 7-21. Kansas State is the most likely of the top five to lose this weekend due...
Paul Finebaum’s Twitter feed is reporting that Volquest has reported that Derek Dooley has been fired as the Tennessee Volunteer’s Head Coach of the football team. Dooley and the Vols are coming off a loss to the Missouri Tigers and have not won an SEC Conference game all season. Volunteer fans have been growing restless.

The legend of Johnny Manziel continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Manziel’s meteoric rise from being a three-star recruit to potential Heisman finalist is close to outdoing that of the great Tim Tebow, in my opinion.
Manziel did what some felt couldn’t be done, by driving the Alabama defense crazy and giving them fits. With that, Texas A&...
Is you're planning to make your next million off of Texas A&M starting quarterback Johnny Manziel's hideous nickname you may already be out of luck. The school is working with the Manziel family to trademark "Johnny Football," and block any unauthorized use of what is the only nickname whiter than "Matty Ice."
"Texas A&M is working in...
Johnny “Football” Manziel (6-1 200 Fr) led the Texas A&M Aggies (8-2) to an improbable 29-24 victory over the number one ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (9-1). The performance by Manziel on Saturday and his cumulative stats for the season will vault him into the upper echelon of the Heisman Trophy discussion. The Aggies should also jump up considerably in the week 12 BCS Standings...
No. 15 Texas A&M travelled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to face No. 1 Alabama. Johnny Manziel passed for 253 yards and rushed for 92 to lead the Aggies to a 29-24 upset of the Tide on Saturday afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Aggies dominated the first quarter, opening up a 20-0 lead, then withstood a Tide comeback to beat the top ranked team in the country.
STANDOUT WASHINGTON STATE wide receiver Marquess Wilson spoke plainly about his departure from the program Saturday. Wilson, who has been suspended since he walked off the Cougars’ practice field Sunday, did not return a phone call from CF.C seeking comment. But Wilson did release a statement about his decision to leave the program through his hometown newspaper, the Visalia Times-Delta.

Johnny Manziel comes through for Texas A&M on the biggest stage and shakes up the BCS standings by knocking off undefeated Alabama.
On the weekend he returned from an injury that seemed to threaten his hopes at the Heisman trophy, Collin Klein was able to put in a solid performance in a key victory over TCU on Saturday, using his feet to help push Kansas State. Klein was admittedly underwhelming through the air, passing for just 145 yards and no touchdowns with a pick thrown. But his ground game...
Trouble brewing in Pullman
Add a new chapter to the Washington State vs. Marquess Wilson saga.
For those of you just joining, here’s the back story: Last Monday, it was announced that Marquess Wilson was suspended from the team. The reason was originally undisclosed, but it was suspected to be from Wilson walking out of practice the Sunday night before.
Outside of Monday’s fallout...
Derek Dooley (Tennessee Vols): Dooley had a team that returned 19 starters with 10 on offense.Surrounded by talent, quarterback Tyler Bray put up some points for the Vols, but the defense ranks 110th in points given up.This shows a lack of discipline on Dooley's part.Fans would think that Dooley, who coached under Nick Saban, would be more defensive-minded.Dooley has had this...

The Southeastern Conference is considered by yours truly as the best conference in overall talent and entertainment regardless of the sport.
To have six teams ranked in the latest BCS Standings is absurd since the domination is never ending. The talent we see on Sunday’s reflects upon what we...
For all the off-season drama, NCAA investigations and arrests, once college football season does start, there are days and moments that make you remember why we all love the sport the way we do. Why, on its best day, there really is nothing better than college football.
One of those days was Saturday, and the final scoreboard in Tuscaloosa said more than the written word ever...
What is there to say about Johnny Football that hasn't been said already this weekend? Here's my take. Johnny Manziel is fun. Brett Favre fun. And good. I can't imagine he'll ever be a great pro quarterback but who cares. We still have three more years of him at Texas A&M, plus a few more Saturdays this season. And by the way, Manziel had the game of his life...
