It is still unclear whether or not Washington Huskies quarterback Keith Price will play on Saturday against after re-injuring his thumb against Arizona State. According to a report from Adam Jude of The Seattle Times, head coach Steve Sarkisian still doesn’t know if Price will play: “We don’t know yet,” Sarkisian said, when asked about Price’s status in the Pac-12 coaches’ call. “We’re going to monitor him throughout the week. Obviously, we’re hopeful that he can play, but are fortunate (that) we’ve recruited that position very well with Cyler Miles and Jeff Lindquist and Troy Williams all behind him. As for whether any changes will be made to Washington’s offensive scheme on Saturday in the event that Price can’t play, Sarkisian’s comment to that was that “no, we’ll run our offense.” The Huskies desperately need to win this game having lost three straight to pretty stiff Pac-12 competition (Stanford, Oregon, and Arizona State).
