Twitter/@boom_that_guy While Kentucky coach Mark Stoops hasn’t even coached an actual game in the SEC yet, his Wildcats are quickly becoming the talk of the conference. Yesterday, UK locked-up its best recruit so far for the 2014 class. Stanley “Boom” Williams, ranked as the No. 1 all-purpose back (per Rivals), committed to UK yesterday on Twitter after a visit to Lexington.  With Boom on board, UK has the No. 3 ranked recruiting class for 2014 – above powerhouses like Alabama, Notre Dame and Texas. Yes, Big Blue Nation, we’re still talking about football.  But will the high class ranking actually translate to more wins on the gridiron? Last night, Williams told Steve Jones of the Courier-Journal that he thinks 2015 could be the year Kentucky wins the SEC.  “Yes, sir, it is. 2014 is going to be a good year, but I believe 2015 is going to be the year that we break out and win the SEC. 2014 we’re going to have a shot. If not, we’re definitely going to be up in the top of the SEC and finish in the top. 2015 is when we’re going to take over the SEC and win the SEC championship.” Kentucky, win the SEC? Shocking to even consider, right? And while Williams and the Wildcats have a lot of work to do to make his proclamation a reality, there is no doubt that UK is on the right track. As Coach Stoops would say, “Yahtzee!”  Yahtzee !!! BBN. Can I get a Yahtzee — Mark Stoops (@UKCoachStoops) June 13, 2013 [Courier-Journal]
