According to College Football Talk, Kevin Sumlin has a raise and a contract extension coming his way. He coached up Johnny “Football” Manziel to win a Heisman Trophy as a freshman and achieved an 11 win season. Not only did the Texas A&M Aggies land the 8th best recruiting class in the nation according to the recruiting website Rivals.com.
Manziel is only a freshman and could go on to win another Heisman Trophy. Texas A&M did just lose their offensive coordinator Kliff Klingsbury to Texas Tech but that did not stop them from thrashing the Oklahoma Sooners in their bowl game. It sounds like Sumlin’s Air Raid offense will be just fine.
