Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops was unpleased with his defensive unit's performance on Monday in the Wildcats' fifth spring practice session. Part of the reason was the play of receiver Demarco Robinson, who has been shining for the UK offense.

It seems as thought sending obscene amounts of handwritten recruiting letters to a recruit is the new trend. The Kentucky Wildcats sent 2014 in-state quarterback Drew Baker 115 handwritten letters. No word on what type of impression it made on the recruit, but it has to get a tad annoying. Does the coaching staff really think he’s going to open and read all of those letters...
In his brief time at Kentucky, Nerlens Noel flashed plenty of potential to lead many to believe that he will be the top pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. His defensive dominance was one of the few highlights on a Kentucky teamed that struggled to find its way for most of the season, eventually losing in the first round of the NIT Tournament.

Despite a season-ending knee injury that cost him the final nine games of the season, Kentucky’s Nerlens Noel has been named a Freshman All-America by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.
