Found August 02, 2013 on Shirts With Random Triangles:
PLAYERS: Les Miles
College Spun found a nice little clip of LSU head football coach Les Miles discussing his quaint little habit of eating grass during his trip through the ESPN car wash. Was Miles able to resist the temptation of trying out the grass on the WWL's campus? Of course not. Was he impressed by it? Apparently not. Miles sounds like an unimpressed judge on Chopped in this clip. Why is the grass not greener (or tastier) in Bristol? The best guess is that ESPN has had to cut back on lawn care in conjunction to the layoffs the WWL has suffered during the past few months. (via College Spun)

Video: Les Miles Explains Why He Doesn’t Like The Way ESPN’s Grass Tastes

LSU head football coach Les Miles has a thing for tasting grass. On his stop to Bristol, Connecticut for a few ESPN interviews last week, he decided to sample a few blades from The Worldwide Leader’s campus. Apparently he was not impressed. “It would not compare to the robust, green fescue of Baton Rouge.” I’ll admit, I just learned a new word.

No. 2 - Lamin Barrow

TSD's summer-long countdown of the top 50 LSU football players for the 2013 season has reached the final two. Coming in at number two is senior linebacker Lamin Barrow, a rare commodity in college football as a returning 100-tackle performer.

The latest from Les

LSU football is finally right around the corner. The Tigers take to the practice field for the first time tomorrow morning. In advance of all the action, Les Miles will meet with the media at 1 p.m. Sunday to discuss his team. TSD will have live coverage inside.
