Alabama defeated Western Kentucky, 35-0, last Saturday, which was not a surprise in any respect. But there was a surprising aspect as number one Bama went to 2-0. The Hilltoppers sacked Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron six times.
On the SEC Coaches Teleconference this morning, Alabama head coach Nick Saban discussed the competition at backup quarterback, why he kept AJ McCarron in the Western Kentucky game until late in the fourth quarter and what he's expecting out of Arkansas this weekend.

The University of Alabama baseball team will begin its fall workouts on Wednesday, and the Crimson Tide will have team scrimmages on Thursday and Friday this week at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. During the six weeks of the fall practice schedule, the Tide will have 27 practice days that will include approximately 15 intrasquad opportunities.
Remember when Alabama had supposedly trolled LSU by switching their official store merchandise to be all Bama stuff? That was pretty funny even though it apparently wasn’t Bama fans.
