Found January 08, 2013 on The Cardinal Connect:
Charlie Strong and the Louisville Cardinals have finished the 2012 season ranked No. 13 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll. The Cards were jumped all the way from 22-to-12 after knocking Florida in the Sugar Bowl. The Gators finished at No. 9. The biggest question now is where Louisville will be when the first preseason poll is released for next season. With almost everyone returning in 2013, Louisville has a chance to be in the top five. I think top eight is more realistic, but the Cards will get plenty of hype in the off season after shocking the college football world in the Sugar Bowl. 1 Alabama (59) Record: 13-1 PV Rank 2 Points 1,475 2 Oregon Record: 12-1 5 1,358 3 Ohio State Record: 12-0 3 1,302 4 Notre Dame Record: 12-1 1 1,288 5 Texas A&M Record: 11-2 10 1,230 5 Georgia Record: 12-2 6 1,230 7 Stanford Record: 12-2 8 1,169 8 South Carolina Record: 11-2 11 1,038 9 Florida Record: 11-2 4 933 10 Florida State Recor...
