Despite the recent and unfortunate drama surrounding Louisville’s football program, the staff is still working hard on the recruiting trail. It started on Sunday night when Finesse Middleton, a former Ole Miss commit switched his commitment from the Rebels to the Cardinals. The Louisville staff has reportedly been in Florida this week to visit with two defensive back prospects. Jody Demling of CardinalAuthority.com reports that Louisville had a staff member in Vero Beach, Fla. yesterday to see Sean Paul, a 2-star defensive back. Paul has reportedly been down to Louisville and Wake Forest since July.  He also has offers from Iowa State, Boston College, Indiana, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Memphis, Central Florida, and Western Kentucky. Paul will take an official visit to Louisville this weekend. Cardinal defensive back coach Tommy Restivo has been out in front on the recruitment of Paul.
