The University of Oregon announced on Sunday that starting tight end, junior Colt Lyerla has withdrawn from school. In a story on the Oregon Athletic Department's official website, Lyerla indicated that he informed Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich of his decision on Sunday afternoon.

Starting Oregon Tight End Colt Lyerla has left the football team. The exact reason is uncertain at this point but we do know that Colt and new head coach Mark Helfrich never quite saw eye to eye.
