TCU junior linebacker Marcus Mallet met with the media on Tuesday to discuss the Frogs upcoming game on the road against Oklahoma State.
BEST OF MAXIM
Oklahoma State and TCU have gone head-to-head for several Texas high school standouts in recent seasons, and now the rivalry is picking up steam with the Horned Frogs joining the Big 12 Conference. The Bedlam rivalry will always be No. 1 in the eyes of Cowboys fans but TCU could become another of OSU's biggest rivals. Don't be surprised if that happens in the near future...
TCU head coach Gary Patterson says one of his major concerns and a trait of his team is the Horned Frogs penchant for slow starts. TCU has had its share of 11 a.m. kickoffs, having teed the ball up early against Southeastern Louisiana and Kansas. The 11 a.m. kick at Oklahoma State presents a greater concern as TCU will stay in Oklahoma City on Friday night, and then bus Saturday to Stillwater.
The TCU Horned Frogs are at a crossroad for the 2013 season. A win Saturday could propel them to a solid finish and a chance at a respectable bowl game. A loss could have a devastating effect on a team that's trying to claw it's way back to elite status.
