A report that Mario Benavides was injured during Monday’s University of Louisville practice is erroneous, according to Rocco Gasparo, a team spokesman.A source close to the team had indicated otherwise earlier Tuesday.But Gasparo stated that Benavides participated in practice on Tuesday.

Cardinal Authority was at Louisville football practice on Wednesday morning and checks in with center Mario Benavides, who isn’t injured, and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans, who is working in a new player.
