Found July 29, 2013 on The Cardinal Connect:
Although it’s still not been made “official,” I can confirm that former Auburn running back Michael Dyer is currently in the process of joining the Louisville football team. Since last week, I’ve spoke to three different people who are close to the program and they’ve informed me that Dyer has been in Louisville over the past week and is expected to be a member of the Cardinal program. Jonathan Lintner of the Courier-Journal reported on Monday afternoon that the University of Louisville’s registrar office has confirmed that Dyer has been added to their system. This means that Dyer has applied to the school, but isn’t officially enrolled. From what I’ve gathered, the current hold up is academic records from his previous school. Dyer recently earned his associates degree from Arkansas Baptist College. Once Dyer is officially enrolled, expect to see his name added to the official football roster. He has until August 26 to register for fall classes. The UofL football program can’t comme...

If you follow The Cardinal Connect on a regular basis, I’m sure you can tell that we’re all pretty much on board with Charlie Strong bringing in Michael Dyer. Obviously there are some red flags when you look at Dyer’s background, but I see this as a low risk/high reward situation. If he acts up and can’t behave, then cut him loose.
