Michigan head coach Brady Hoke has certainly done a lot to finally move the Michigan program in the right direction once again.
Last season he was able to finally end the team’s long losing streak to Ohio State, accumulating a winning record and ultimately get to a BCS bowl game at the end of the season.
Heading into 2012 Brady Hoke surely wants to capitalize on last season’s successes along with accomplishing a few more goals.
One of those goals would be ending the Wolverines’ four year losing streak to in State rival Michigan State which he did Saturday afternoon with a 12-10 win from The Big House.
The win came via a Brendan Gibbons 38 yard field goal in final seconds of the fourth quarter to seal the victory. But this wasn’t just a big rivalry win for the Wolverines, it was the programs 900th further cementing their claim as college football’s winningest program.
Now Michigan will nonetheless set their sights on the Big Ten Championship game and the Rose Bowl.
