espn photo Brady Hoke and the Michigan Football coaches are in the process of putting together another fabulous recruiting class. The Wolverines have 11 commitments so far in the 2014 recruiting class, 9 of them are ranked in the ESPNU 150. Michigan is in the mix with numerous other highly rated prospects. Among them is Jamarco Jones (Chicago, Illinois) the 8th ranked offensive tackle in the country. He is set to announce his commitment on June 27th at 1pm. Jones has narrowed his choices down to four schools; Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Ohio State. Many experts have predicted that Jones will end up picking Ohio State. However, he still has a pending official visit to Michigan before his announcement. Jones, an honor student at De La Salle, is understandably intrigued by Michigan’s combined offering of athletics and academics. So far, Michigan has two offensive linemen in their 2014 recruiting class. It’s likely that Brady Hoke is only going to take one more offensive lineman in this class. They would love for it to be the 6-foot-6, 300 pound, Jones who has all the tools to be an elite offensive lineman at the college level. Jones is currently recovering from shoulder surgery for a torn labrum, but he is expected to be ready to roll for the start of his senior season at De La Salle Institute. Jones has taken notice of the special class that Michigan is putting together.
