Michigan Football recruiting update: The Michigan coaches were in school with David Dawson (Detroit, Michigan) this week and subsequent to that visit they have re-offered him a scholarship. Dawson, who seemed to regret spurning the Wolverines for his Florida visit last month, is likely to make an official visit to U-M on December 14th. Dawson is ranked #87 overall and the #1 offensive guard according to ESPNU. He is also planning trips to Ohio State, Michigan State and Alabama. When the dust settles on this, I think he ends up re-committing to Michigan.
With the de-commitment of Gareon Conley, Brady Hoke and his staff have another scholarship to work with as they round out the 2013 class. Michigan has recently offered two 2013 offensive linemen; Cameron Hunt (Corona, Calif./Centennial) and Kenny Lacy (Phoenix/Mountain Pointe).
Cameron Hunt is a 6-foot-4, 267 pound offensive tackle. He is a 4-star recruit and ranked the #13 OT by ESPNU. Hunt is currently committed to Cal...

Two years ago, an 8-4 record for Michigan, a winning record in the Big Ten and a New Year's Day bowl game would have been seen as a step in the right direction.
Brady Hoke's first season, though, raised expectations and now fans are left wondering what went wrong.

What year is that Mike Vrabel Ohio State jersey? Look like an ’84 version to my Ohio eyes. Tom Brady spent yesterday at practice paying off his Ohio State-Michigan bet with Vrabel. Michigan had its most impressive offensive showing of the year versus North Carolina State, but John Beilein says his team can still perform better. In his weekly appearance on Sports Talk 1050 WTKA the Wolverines headman discussed plans to add a low post element to the attack, the growth of Nik Stauskas and Mitch McGary, defensive versatility, the upcoming match up with Bradley, and more.
As Michigan prepared for its first true road test at Bradley this afternoon at 4 pm EST (ESPNU), Head Coach John Beilein continued to look at his lineup options.
It wasn’t easy but eventually Michigan pulled away from Bradley in front of 11,019 fans at the Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois. Bradley gave the Wolverines a test in their first true road game but Michigan’s talent persevered and held on down the stretch for a 74-66 win. Michigan took a 34-30 lead into the half, then in the second stanza extended it to 16 and fought off a late Bradley rally. Nik Stauskas started and led the Wolverines with 22.
