The Michigan Wolverines took on the Northwestern Wildcats today and regulation ended in a very strange way. Michigan's new quarterback threw up a pass that was tipped by a Northwestern defensive back to Michigan wide receiver Roundtree. He made an amazing cause which allowed their field goal kicker, Gibbons to tie up the game. I bet Michigan is really missing Denard Robinson right about now. That's why we love college football. Craziness like this happens and it comes down to a game of inches and catches and no catches.

Michigan Football improved to 7-3 (5-1) with a dramatic 38-31 victory in OT on Saturday afternoon against Northwestern.
Brady Hoke asked the first question at his post game presser. “How many of you (reporters) had your stories written before the finish?” Most of the room raised their hands. For Hoke, these last second wins are now officially old hat. Walking back to...

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Devin Gardner ran for a 1-yard touchdown in overtime and Michigan's defense responded with a stop, giving the Wolverines a wild 38-31 win over Northwestern on Saturday.
Giving up 31 points in one game isn’t something that pleases Brady Hoke and the Michigan coaching staff. Northwestern was able to attack the Wolverines on the perimeter. But a great defensive call late solidified the 38-31 overtime win.
Check out the video. Michigan needed a miracle against Northwestern and they got it. Michigan Wolverines quarterback Devin Gardner hit wide receiver Roy Roundtree who juggled and caught a 53-yard pass with just eight seconds left in the game
On a day when a trio of tackles were honored as legends, it was a receiver that made the biggest play. Roy Roundtree has become a big play legend in his own right while donning Desmond Howard’s legends jersey and has now been on the receiving end of two of the most improbable comebacks in Michigan history.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Denard Robinson has become the elephant in Brady Hoke's room.
There have been times in Hoke's two seasons at Michigan where he couldn't stop talking about his multi-talented quarterback, but that has changed ever since Robinson left the Nebraska game with a nerve problem in his throwing elbow.
The Wolverines lost that game as backup Russell Bellomy...
