Three Michigan players have been suspended for the 2013 Outback Bowl for the ever-vague "violation of team rules." The trio includes Will Hagerup the best punter in the Big Ten this season. Cornerback T.J. Floyd and linebacker Brandin Hawthorne, both seniors, were also suspended.
"It is an honor to play football for the University of Michigan, and we have high standards and expectations for everyone that
represents our program," Michigan coach Brady Hoke said in the release.
"These young men used poor judgment in each circumstance, and these
suspensions are teaching moments for our team."
For Floyd and Hawthorne, it ends their careers."
Floyd, a Greenville, SC native will miss out playing against South Carolina, Michigan's Outback Bowl opponent.
