The University of Michigan football program will be featured in a 13-minute segment aired on CBS’ 60 Minutes this Sunday, Nov. 18, at approximately 7:30 p.m. EST, following the networks NFL doubleheader. The feature hosted by Armen Keteyian looks at the business of college football.
Athletic Director Dave Brandon, head football coach Brady Hoke, quarterback Denard Robinson and safety Jordan Kovacs were interviewed for the piece. In addition, Alabama head football coach Nick Saban and the Towson University football program are part of the storyline.
CBS spent the early part of the season at Michigan football games – Alabama, Air Force and Massachusetts – and attended a fall practice and youth day at Michigan Stadium. The network also filmed around the Ann Arbor community and University.
