Michigan wide receiver Roy Roundtree says he's ''100 percent'' following surgery on his left knee. Coach Brady Hoke says Roundtree practiced Sunday, and he doesn't anticipate any problems for the senior. No. 8 Michigan opens the season Saturday night against No. 2 Alabama in Arlington, Texas. Roundtree needed knee surgery earlier this month, but was expected to play in the opener all along. Hoke hasn't said whether running back Fitzgerald Toussaint, who was suspended because of a DUI charge, will play against Alabama.

Team 133 Captains: Denard Robinson & Jordan Kovacs

Pretty much everyone saw this one coming. Denard was an obvious choice for offense, and you won't find a much better choice than Jordan Kovacs for the defense. Denard was the QB that nobody wanted. RichRod gave him a chance and he proved himself worthy of the starting role.  For Jorban...from unknown freshman walk-on to starter to senior captain. A great story for one of...

Denard Robinson and Jordan Kovacs named captains for Michigan Football

On Sunday, the University of Michigan football team announced that Denard Robinson and Jordan Kovacs have been elected team captains, in a vote by their teammates. “Denard and Jordan are two guys who represent what Michigan football stands for, on and off the field, and they certainly are deserving of being named team captains,” said Michigan Football coach Brady Hoke.  ...

Michigan running back Fitzgerald Toussaint has pleaded guilty to drunken driving. Toussaint agreed to a plea deal Tuesday in Washtenaw County District Court. He pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while visibly impaired, a lesser charge than operating while intoxicated. Is Michigan back?

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan took a step toward returning to college football's elite last season with an 11-victory season and a Sugar Bowl win over Virginia Tech. Would a season-opening upset of defending champion Alabama mean they're all the way back -- recovered from the Rich Rodriguez era in just two short years? Brady Hoke and the Wolverines don't think so because...

Video blog: Michigan has a chance

With Denard Robinson in the lineup, don't count Michigan out against Alabama on Saturday -- especially if my Timmy Chang channeling works.

Michigan fans make an “I Love You Denard” video

What have we learned from college students making fan videos for their teams? Don’t do it. Oh for the love of God, don’t do it. This Michigan Wolverine fan decided to throw caution to the wind and make a music video called “I Love You Denard.” It’s bad. I mean really really bad. The Michigan Wolverines take on the Alabama Crimson Tide this weekend at Cowboy Stadium in...

#12 Michigan Wolverines

Michigan Brady Hoke and the Wolverines are coming off of a spectacular season where they lost only two games, one to a very good Michigan State team and one where they just didn’t perform, Iowa. Hoke has his man man, junior quarterback Denard Robinson back. Robinson (Derp) has had some issues throwing the ball and making mistakes, but his big play potential is through the roof...
