Miller, Simon Lead All-Big Ten Choices

The All-Big Ten teams came out Monday evening and are sure to stir up discussion. Ohio State's Braxton Miller and John Simon were named league players of the year at their positions, but when it came to consensus first-team All-Big Ten choices, the undefeated Buckeyes were curiously lacking.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Big Ten Conference announced its 2012 award winners and all-conference teams this evening and Ohio State Buckeyes, off a 12-0 regular season, are well represented among the honorees. 1-year suspension for atty who tipped Tressel

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- The Ohio Supreme Court has suspended for a year the law license of an attorney whose emails to Jim Tressel triggered an ongoing scandal and NCAA investigation that cost the coach his job at Ohio State. At issue was whether Columbus attorney Christopher Cicero violated professional rules of conduct that prohibit revealing information from meetings with a client...

Even after a loss, we're still Michigan!

The bad news is our offense stalled in the 2nd half in Columbus and we lost a 26-21 contest with Ohio State that we could have won, should have won.  Could have and should have are phrases more suited to humans than to Wolverines.  What did happen happened.  What “could have happened” and “should have happened” did not happen and it never will happen because the game is...

OSU Loses Second-Half Lead, Falls At Duke

The No. 4 Ohio State basketball team knew it would find out plenty about itself after Wednesday night's game at Duke. After falling 73-68 to the Blue Devils, the Buckeyes return home having plenty to sure up before it takes the floor on Saturday. For the full recap, go inside.

AP: Duke-Ohio State Preview

The Blue Devils will look to avenge last year's blowout loss in Columbus as the Buckeyes invade Cameron Indoor tonight.

Notre Dame: The New Ohio State Buckeyes

Notre Dame has taken care of business every weekend.  They have an offense that scores enough to win, while the defense stops the run.  This reminds me of those late millennium Buckeye teams that looked great until the BCS Championship Game - then things went south up against the SEC teams. Well, here we go again.  Alabama will take away anything that Notre Dame has on offense...

View From Press Row: Duke

The No. 4 Ohio State basketball team traveled to Duke for its biggest test of the young season, and the Buckeyes had the Blue Devils on the ropes before losing a second-half lead and fulling 73-68 in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Inside is a complete list of observations from the team's most recent game.

The 2012 Notre Dame Team vs. The 2002 Ohio State Team. Identical?

There’s a saying out there that goes, “history has a way of repeating itself,” and in sports in general, there’s probably no cliche that’s more appropriate. From players often being compared to great athletes of past generations like Michael Jordan and Joe Montana, to team’s constantly being measured-up with the most memorable of all, who began dynasties and took over...

Williams Still Has Growing To Do

Amir Williams appeared in the first half of Ohio State's 77-70 win over Syracuse in last year's Elite Eight and had a productive nine minutes, helping OSU fans feel at ease about the center position moving forward without Jared Sullinger. Now only a sophomore, Williams has a lot of growth to do before Thad Matta feels the same.

Commitment Analysis: Demetrius Knox

Texas landed Demetrius Knox over Ohio State and others on Monday, bringing the Longhorns yet another top-15 in-state prospect in the 2014 class.
