Update: …and it’s confirmed. Head coach Dan Mullen just tweeted out a photo of the helmets, which will be worn for this Saturday’s opener against Oklahoma State. Earlier: Mississippi State fans were treated to brand new Egg Bowl uniforms just last week. Apparently that wasn’t the only surprise the school had in store for fans. Running back Nick Griffin tweeted out a photo of a brand new helmet the Bulldogs could be wearing during the 2013 season. The design appears to be the same used for last year’s “Snow Bowl” game, just with a maroon base instead of white. Check it out: Bulldogs fans – do you like the new look?
