South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney will not play against Wofford because of a sprained foot that's bothered him most of the season.
Clowney was not dressed in his uniform before pregame practice. He has not practiced this week, but defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward has said Clowney hasn't practiced much the past few weeks yet still played.

Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o are the finalists for the Maxwell Award, which goes to the nation's top college football player.

Maxwell Football Club President, Ron Jaworski, announced the 2012 finalists for the 76th Maxwell Award for the Collegiate Player of the Year and the 18th Chuck Bednarik Award for the Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year.
The respective lists include a field of three candidates for each of these awards as determined by the Semifinalist voting process which ended on Nov. 18.
