Alabama Crimson Tide long snapper Carson Tink was the first to tweet out a photo of the ring that commemorates the team’s BCS National Championship Game victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, a 42-14 thrashing at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on Jan. 7, 2013, but several more followed, including the pics above, courtesy of @bryantmuseum.

As you can see, the ring features three footballs paying tribute to the Crimson Tide’s three most recent national titles, along with the score of game against Notre Dame.

All in all, pretty fancy, but not too overboard on the bling factor. I can’t wait until one shows up on eBay. Shouldn’t take too long, right?

Alabama’s McCarron Has a Shot at Becoming College Football’s G.O.A.T.

There are plenty of names in the conversation: Archie Griffin, Tim Tebow, Roger Stabauch, Barry Sanders and Hershel Walker to name a few. Nobody, however, can step forward and definitively name one player as the single greatest player in college football history, which make it a great conversation. Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron has a serious shot of inserting himself into that...

Florida Assistant Tim Davis Referred To Nick Saban As “The Devil Himself”

HLN Video Hey, remember when The Ultimate Warrior died and Nancy Grace brought on Diamond Dallas Page to openly suggest Warrior died from steroids, brought in totally unrelated doctor who said things like “anabolic steroids are probably used by 1% of Americans,” then put together a list of wrestlers who died young to suggest Owen Hart died from drugs? (Credit: BSO) Although the number 88 isn’t officially retired by the Indianapolis Colts, it appears nobody else will wear it again for the team.
