When Kliff Kingsbury was hired as the head coach at Texas Tech this past winter, it was lauded as both a steal for the school and a win for young bros looking for a big break everywhere. After all, it’s not often that a school takes a chance in giving a plush head coaching job to any 33-year-old, let alone one that walks around with the swag of your average 30-something at happy hour every Friday night.   Still, questions did remain about Kingsbury’s hire, specifically on whether or not he was able to discipline a group of football players that were barely older than he was. Only apparently on Tuesday we got an answer to the question of: “What happens when a bro stops being polite and starts getting real?” And we got it in the most hilarious way possible. Above is a note Kingsbury left for all his players, as they get set to leave campus for the rest of May. It comes via the Twitter feed of Texas Tech offensive lineman Alfredo Morales, and well, it’s awesome. It reads as follows: *Also we advise you to be active over break as you will need to be ready to work once June rolls around. Sitting at the house playing COD/2K13/Madden against 12 year olds online doesn’t suffice as “activity” even if you claim to “wreck shop.” While we’re not sure what “wreck shop” means, what we are sure of is that this note is that this may be the single coolest thing that has happened this off-season. Still, what we’re more curious to know is whether this warning applies to the 33-year-old coach in addition to his 20-something year old players.   After all, doesn’t Kliff Kingsbury just look like the kind of guy that loves a good game of “Call of Duty” every now and again? Dustin Pedroia on confidence after grand slam: 'Just watch'

Barry Switzer urged Cowboys to draft Murray with great quote

DeMarco Murray was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in large part thanks to a hearty endorsement from former Cowboys and Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer. Brian Hoyer praises Johnny Manziel for checking into rehab

Cleveland Browns’ quarterback Brian Hoyer is on course to become a free agent next week after being the primary starter for the team last year. Even though he and fellow quarterback Johnny Manziel competed for the starting job last summer and Manziel sat mainly on the sideline, there was a respect on Hoyer’s side at least for the young quarterback. Hoyer had this to say to...

The decision might be simple for Darrelle Revis if he hits free agency: winning versus money.
