In the beginning of November, reports surfaced that Tim Tebow was pursuing NFL and college broadcasting jobs. He had hired prominent broadcast agent Nick Khan of the CAA.

Jason McIntyre of The Big Lead now has knowledge that Tebow will, in all likelihood, be a college football analyst come the 2014 season. The three networks in the running are ESPN’s SEC Newtork, CBS Sports and FOX Sports.

According to McIntyre’s sources, the SEC Network already has the makings of a show in place that includes the former Heisman Trophy winner.

ESPN’s SEC Network, which debuts on August 21, 2014, is planning its own version of ‘College Gameday’ and has settled on three names: Rece Davis (an Alabama grad) would be the host, the voice of the South Paul Finebaum would play the role of Lee Corso, and Tebow would be the show’s Kirk Herbstreit. A source says ESPN is currently searching for another former SEC athlete to fill the final spot.

Whatever network lands Tebow is banking on the fact that he would bring in enough viewers for cable providers to pick up the show.

Heading into the offseason, expect the bidding war for one of the most polarizing individuals in the nation to really heat up.

  • Say what you will, Tebow is better than half the losers in the NFL, which, as we all know, means NOT FOR LONG. He could have given a little longer life to rex ryan's j-e-t-s- career... Tim, keep pursuing...
  • he showed he could play in Denver, but idiots still put him down. narrow minded, anti-Christian haters, all.
  • Tebow was loved in Denver and openly showed he was religious. Why not take him back on the Broncos as a back up quarterback to Manning. Best of both worlds.
  • Tebow didn't show he can play in Denver. Denver showed it could take someone with little QB skills and make him successful. They knew it was only a temporary fix. That's why Elway was so giddy when they had the opportunity to get not only a real QB but one of the best ever to play the game at the QB position. It had nothing to do with Tebow's Christian beliefs. It had everything to do with he is not an NFL caliber QB, and he attracts a lot of attention. Tebow is not a backup in Denver because he doesn't fit into their plans. Face it; he's not an NFL QB. Teams won't even hire him as a third stringer. If he wants to ever play again in the NFL, he knows what he must do and that is to give up being a QB. It seems like with this article he has already made up his mind to not play again!
  • I'm not a blind sports fan! So I don't have any special reason to support Tebow. That said all the guy did is win when given the opportunity. Some one in the NFL should have let him throw with his college mechanics like Denver, and win. It it's a knock on Tebow that Denver thought Manning was better. It was a knock on the Jets that they played and used draft picks on quarterbacks that Tebow couldn't possibly do worse.
  • cut the spam, and I don't mean with a knife, loser.
  • Good he will make money without being beaten up. Now as long as he doesn't get down on his knee every show
  • wow whatthetry, how prophetic. you obviously have never gotten down on our knee or knees and given thanks.
  • Please go away Teblow……..And take the loser sheep followers with you……….But it's just starting over again………… Get ready for headlines like "Tim Tebow charges $250 for speaking fee at Christian university," "Breaking News: No NFL team interested in Tebow. Stay Tuned for Updates Every Hour," and "Tebow: My Life's Work. An Apology, by Skip Bayless......Teblow a College Football Analyst.........TOO Funny!!.....The bum couldn't even remember a play book...........Teblow dumb as a sack rocks………LOL!!!
  • what is your problem with Tebow ru4realpa? the man has done nothing to you personally. let me guess, uh Christians scare you.
  • your sad!
  • if your even half as ignorant as your rant above, I have one question? who dresses you in the morning?
  • You scum bags took out my post.......Because I told the truth about your good ole boy no talent loser Teblow......Guess what the bum is still on the street....He is a loser like low-lifes who kiss this joke of a so called NFL QB'S a$$..........LOL!!
  • Not sure this is such a great hire for anyone. I think Michael Irvin has a higher IQ than Tebow. But I suppose if Terry Bradshaw can make it, so can Rev. Timmy.
  • RU4 He is simply trying to get a job. The guy has not implied that he is the best, just trying to make a living. Im not defending his record .
  • I am not an anti Christian so please keep your insults to yourself.
Tim Tebow isn't a good quarterback he has shown this over and over again in the past.
Now, if there are owners out there who want to give him another shot fine, but don't be saying everyone who doesn't think the man can play does not make them anti Christian.. shame on you for such nasty words.
  • what the heck difference does it make that he dropped to his kness to give thanks for a good play:do any of you ever look at other athletic events:in all of them some player will raise his hand to the heavens-some will cross themselves;some will kiss a cross and raise the number one sign to the high above:so whats special about Tebow-the press turned it into a circus and ratings or circulaltion:so he couldn't make in in the nfl(that should be the worst that ever happens to him):but the first words have not been said on the proposed program and his already being blasted.tell me how to go through life pleasing all the people (like YOU'LL) you are not worth it.wonder if there is a law (judicial or moral)that prohibits this type of bullying?
  • he has had a few chances to play in the NFL in a different position and turned it away then he had a chance to play starting QB in arena football turned it down to so if he was supposibly trying to get a job he not going in the right direction..so he can kiss his football playing days goodbye..not dissing him for his religion i'm dissing him cause he needs his priorities straight..he wanted to be NFL QB but he not just cut out for it..he would been a good or even great fullback or even all purpose back or even tight end and he was to hung up on the QB thing
  • With the recent record of Tim's former college coach, Urban Meyer, it is obvious who won the Gator Games. Tebow has proven to be not such a great football player without Meyer. If Tim could humble himself and heal from his addiction to celebrity status, he would find much natural happiness as an assistant coach to his good friend Urban. They make a great team, Tim would continue his love for football as well as his love of coaching younger athletes.
  • Maybe if he watches enough football he'll learn to read defensive schemes. Something he needed in addition to a good arm to make it in the NFL.

Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert says it what was wrong for him to criticize his teammates in late March. “You know, I think that I should’ve kept my frustrations to myself or just in the locker room,” Hibbert said on “ESPN First Take.” “I will admit that it wasn’t the best thing to do. I’ll learn from that, and I was wrong. There are better ways to handle that...

Colts reportedly won't allow Hakeem Nicks to wear No. 88

(Credit: BSO) Although the number 88 isn’t officially retired by the Indianapolis Colts, it appears nobody else will wear it again for the team. This includes recently signed wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who wore 88 with the New York Giants. 88 is a sacred number in Indy, as it belonged to the franchise’s all-time leading receiver Marvin Harrison, as well as Hall of Fame tight...

Pacquiao spends $20K taking 50-man entourage shopping

Manny Pacquiao is a nice and generous guy, but there is a reason most people feel at some point he will end up broke. The problem with 50-man entourages is when you retire they quickly shrink to 5-man entourages. But, Manny was in a giving mood after beating Tim Bradley officially for the first time (unofficially for second time). Manny Pacquiao didn’t waste any time spending his...
