Found September 11, 2013 on Next Impulse Sports:
As we head into NCAA football’s week 3 we are on the lookout for a few possible upsets which may happen.  By nature, these are long-shots, but there is a certain rhyme and reason to picking the possible stunners.  For week 3 we have four possible upsets alerts on our radar. Last week we went 2 for 4 which we are just fine with. Cal vs. #4 Ohio State Cal has looked pretty weak in their first few games of the 2013 college football season and Ohio State is clearly the superior team in this matchup. But the Golden Bears still have a talented team that has yet to fully flourish, and OSU starting QB Braxton Miller is day-to-day after suffering a sprained left knee ligament last weekend. It’s still unknown if he’ll play Saturday, but even if he does…how effective will Miller be? If he isn’t healthy and struggles behind center, Cal could seize the opportunity to pull a massive upset on their home turf. Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Ohio State Football recruiting: Noah Brown Commits

Urban Meyer can do it all. He wins games on Saturdays and gets verbal commitments on Mondays. The latest proverbial ticket punched to Columbus comes from 4-star WR Noah Brown. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound Sparta, N.J. native picked the Scarlet and Gray despite offers from schools such as Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, South Carolina and the seemed-to-be favorite Rutgers. Noah...

Ohio State Football: Cal preview

An upset was in the air last year in Columbus when Ohio State hosted Cal, but it was to no avail as the Buckeyes defeated Cal 35-28 in the closing minutes of the four quarter. With an injured Braxton Miller and an improved Cal offense, this Saturday’s rematch at Cal’s Memorial Stadium could be the first real test for the 2013 Ohio State Football team. Head Coach Urban Meyer and...

Big Ten Football week 3 previews and predictions

To be honest folks…to this point in the season, it’s been pretty easy. I know I put myself out there for scrutiny with a statement like that, but it has been easy.  With the exception of blowing a Tubberville explosion in week one and overlooking Indiana’s refusal to put a defense on the field week in and week out I have had a pretty good start to 2013.  This week however...

Ohio State’s Braxton Miller ruled “day-to-day”

Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller suffered a sprained MCL during Saturday’s 42-7 win over San Diego State. It was during the second quarter when the Heisman candidate went down. Head coach Urban Meyer classified Miller’s status as day-to-day when Meyer met with the media today. Meyer mentioned that Miller wanted to be put back in the game, and the coach also acknowledged that...

Meyer: QB Miller still not cleared

With less than 72 hours before No. 4 Ohio State plays at California, the status of injured Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller is still uncertain. Coach Urban Meyer said Miller got in a little work at Wednesday's practice but then had another session of rehab for his injured left knee. ''We'll know more tomorrow,'' Meyer said. ''He's going on...

Ohio State: Braxton Miller day-to-day, may not play at Cal

The Ohio State Buckeyes are off to a 2-0 start and are ranked No. 4 in the nation, but they may have to try and move to 3-0 without their Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback. Braxton Miller suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee during Saturday’s 42-7 win over San Diego State. Head coach Urban Meyer says his star quarterback is “day-to-day.” Miller was injured during...

The Other Quarterback: Kenny Guiton and his smooth jazz keep the Buckeye offense in rhythm

Urban Meyer has made public his thoughts about Braxton Miller’s status for Ohio State’s game against Cal this Saturday night. The Buckeyes’ coach believes that his Heisman candidate quarterback will be on the field in the team’s first road game of the season. But I’m not interested in that today. The most interesting storyline under center – or, more accurately, in the...

Ohio State QB Braxton Miller a Game-Time Decision Against Cal

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller suffered a knee injury in last week’s win over San Diego State and is questionable to play this Saturday...

Meyer: Miller In 'Day-To-Day Situation'

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer held his weekly press conference Monday morning and gave an update on the status of junior quarterback Braxton Miller.

Not Much Changes From Miller To Guiton

Ohio State might have to turn to backup quarterback Kenny Guiton this weekend, but that's not as big a deal as it might have been in the past. Guiton provides a luxury to the Buckeyes, a veteran quarterback with a similar skill-set to starter Braxton Miller.

Heisman Forecast: Buckeyes' Miller now facing long odds

From Adrian Peterson in 2006 to Matt Barkley in '12, it has been year after year of failure for preseason Heisman Trophy favorites since USC's Matt Leinart won it in 2005. Could Braxton Miller be the next name to join that list of misses? Urban Meyer said Ohio State's junior quarterback is day-to-day as he suffered a sprained ligament in his left knee during the first...

Buck Shot

Jeff Svoboda of BuckeyeSports.com joins BearTerritory for a question-and-answer session to find out just what Ohio State is, beyond Urban Meyer and Braxton Miller.

Buckeyes want to play keep-away with run game

No. 4 Ohio State remains dedicated to running the ball, first and foremost. California? Not so much. Coach Urban Meyer has said repeatedly the Buckeyes want to play quickly to wear down defenses, but will never be in the same ballpark with the Bears, whose starting quarterback has thrown 125 passes in two outings heading into Saturday's game. The Buckeyes aren't exactly...

Arm Chair Quarterback Week 2: The Good The Bad And The Ugly of San Diego State

The Ohio State Buckeyes landed a series of haymakers in the first quarter leading 35-0 and then waddled through a 7-7 second half, to win 42-7. I’m sitting in my recliner at about 6:00pm Saturday, enjoying the after effects of Buckeye victory, yet I must admit that I’m troubled. The Buckeyes for the second week in a row, came out of the gates against fast against a lesser opponent...

Can We Have An Honest Discussion About #5?

Why is a corpse riding shotgun? I asked Iceman to hold off on discussing the Ohio Buckeyes yesterday because I didn’t want this topic to get swept under the rug or glossed over. It deserves its own day. Now, I’ve been accused in the past by thin-skinned ******** of talking about their dirtbag program simply for page views and comments. That’s sort of true, I guess, but if...
