NFL.com experienced some problems earlier today, and one particular issue will have you laughing.
Alabama offensive lineman Barrett Jones is spending his week grinding things out in Indianapolis at the NFL Scputing Combine with many other draft hopefuls, but what he is not — contrary to what NFL.com believed — is dark skinned.
Jones joked with the media about the incident and asked his Twitter followers what they thought of his new look.
Umm guys I've really been out in the sun a lot lately...or so NFL.com thinks. http://t.co/Jnpj1HHnoR— Barrett Jones (@BarrettAJones) February 25, 2013
Jones’ bio page has since been updated with his correct photo, which can be seen in the screenshot below.

You would think that the NFL, with it being a $9 billion+ industry, could do the little things right. It makes enough money to hire people. Since working for the NFL would be super cool to many, the supply of unpaid interns at the NFL's fingertips has to be virtually endless as well.
So with all the resources at the hands of the biggest professional...

I am not quite sure, but it appears as if Manti Te’o still can’t bring himself to be honest with the media. As you may have heard, the former Notre Dame Fighting Irish linebacker had quite the putrid performance at the NFL Scouting Combine on Monday, specifically his 40 time. This was supposed to be the opportunity for Te’o to quiet critics following his deplorable performance...
Nick Saban and Alabama have brought Tide Nation a true-to-life dynasty. Here's an awesome highlight video of The Golden Age.
It’s no secret that as things stand, the Alabama Crimson Tide are the top program in college football right now.
And if Nick Saban has his way, that should extend well into the 2020 season.
Why 2020 in specific?
Well, that’s because according to ESPN.com and a number of other outlets, Alabama went ahead and offered a scholarship to a young man named Dylan Moses...
@BenVolinPBP The cornerback’s at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine ran the forty-yard dash today and their official times have now been released. Kerryon Johnson is one of the top class of 2015 prospects in the South and he’s already one of the best in the state of Alabama regardless of class. With a few offers already on the table, he took a trip to Tuscaloosa over the weekend to experience Alabama’s Junior Day where he met with Nick Saban once again.
Three Crimson Tide players recorded double-digit points, but it was not enough as the Alabama women’s basketball team fell, 67-61, to Florida on Sunday at Foster Auditorium. With the loss, the Tide moves to 12-15 overall and 2-12 in the Southeastern Conference while the win brings the Gators to 16-12 on the season and 5-9 against league opponents.
Alabama has one of the largest contingents of any school on hand in Indianapolis this week for the NFL Scouting Combine - running back Eddie Lacy, defensive back Dee Milliner and linemen Chance Warmack, DJ Fluker and Barrett Jones headlining the group. FoxSportsNext's Jamie Newberg gives his scouting report on each.
Alabama has had plenty of success recruiting in Louisiana over the last few cycles, and the 2014 class may be the state’s biggest talent pool in some time. The Crimson Tide is in on many juniors, as expected, and one has the champs on top after earning an offer on Saturday’s Junior Day.
It was not particularly unexpected that Alabama would beat Auburn. The Tigers may be the worst team in the Southeastern Conference. But the Crimson Tide had been expected to beat Auburn earlier this year, too, and didn’t. So while Wednesday’s 61-43 Bama win was not unexpected, it was important.
Alabama used a four-run fifth inning and added another run in the seventh to defeat the Samford Bulldogs, 5-4, on Tuesday night at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. With the win, the Crimson Tide improves to 7-1 on the season, while the Bulldogs fall to 5-5 overall.
