Strengths:
Prototypical size. Usually shows good awareness and vision on the field; does a nice job keeping his eyes in the backfield and/or on the ball carrier. Does a nice job fighting through traffic at the line of scrimmage; excels at making himself small to slip through holes in offensive line. Patient and seems to have good instincts; rarely over-pursues; takes good angles. Does a nice job staying low to take on blocks. Coaches speak highly of his work ethic.
Weaknesses:
Still learning where he needs to be on the field; what looks like patient play is sometimes just him being unsure of where he should attack. Better moving forward than going sideline-to-sideline. Laterally quickness is marginal and often gets caught taking missteps which slow him down and allow offensive linemen to get to him. Riquna Williams scored 24 points and No. 6 Miami moved into a tie atop the Atlantic Coast Conference standings by beating Florida State 67-60 Sunday.

Three of four Florida State's top four defensive ends are set to graduate or declare for the draft, so that makes the position a need for 2013. Orange Park's De'Asian Richardson has blown up on the recruiting trail and is expected in Tallahassee this weekend.
Florida State will host a Junior Day, this weekend and many of the top prospects from the Southeast will be in attendance. With four verbal commitments, the 'Noles are off to a good start to the 2013 class. When will others will be joining them? And who?

It wasn't the start or the finish that Florida State (2-0) was hoping for on Saturday afternoon but the Seminoles fought through an early season test and found a way to win in the end hanging on for the 10-8 victory in game two of the series against Hofstra (0-2).
