Records have been falling all season for No. 19 Louisiana Tech, and more could fall this week. The Bulldogs hit the road Saturday to face Western Athletic Conference newcomer Texas State. Already off to the best start in school history, Louisiana Tech (8-1, 3-0 WAC) will face a Texas State (3-5, 1-2) team that has suffered two straight conference losses. Louisiana Tech is averaging 52.4 points and 570 yards per game, led by running back Kenneth Dixon. Texas State's defense has allowed 32 touchdowns this season.

Kenneth Dixon scored five touchdowns to set a single-season NCAA freshman record and No. 19 Louisiana Tech scored on all but two possessions to beat Texas State 62-55 on Saturday night.
