Unfortunately for the Midshipmen, their record in the previous nine bowl games is 3-6 and coach Ken Niumatalolo is just 1-4 in bowl games - a trend he'd like to buck. Navy was one of the youngest teams in the country last season with 17 first-time starters and that experience could bode well for the 2013 squad that welcomes back 13 positional starters and an intact special teams group. With a pair of FCS opponents in Delaware and South Alabama, the schedule is very manageable for Navy and a 10-win season is not out of the question.
