The University of North Carolina men's and women's swimming and diving program has signed 15 outstanding high school seniors to national letters-of-intent during the November 2011 signing period, Head Coach Rich DeSelm announced Sunday. This stellar recruiting class includes six men's swimmers and seven women's swimmers as well as one incoming diver for each team.

Tar Heels Drop Three At Northeast Duals

A short-handed North Carolina wrestling team put up a strong fight at the Northeast Duals in Troy, N.Y. Saturday afternoon. Due to injuries the Tar Heels were forced to forfeit three weight classes on the afternoon as they fell to No. 14 Rutgers, 33-9, No. 20 Penn, 32-12 and No. 6 Lehigh, 27-17.
