Found October 23, 2013 on Sports Injury Alert:
The Oregon Ducks will have another offensive weapon back in the lineup this Saturday against UCLA, as junior running back De’Anthony Thomas is expected play after missing the past four games with an injury to his ankle. Jason Quick from The Oregonian has the details: Oregon star De’Anthony Thomas on Monday said he returned to practice and said he “should” play Saturday when the No. 2 Ducks play host to No. 12 UCLA at Autzen Stadium. “I’m ready. I’m hungry and ready to get back on the field,’’ Thomas said. Thomas has only played in three games thus far, accumulating 338 yards and six touchdowns. The Ducks have still been successful on offense without Thomas, but it won’t hurt to have him back against what is arguably their toughest challenge of the season against Jim Mora’s Bruins. If Thomas can return to form and help lead Oregon to the victory, it could allow the Ducks to jump Florida State and move up to the second spot in the BCS rankings.

Pink Oregon Helmet Signed by Phil Knight Going For Over $10K

The Oregon Ducks are known for two things--crazy, fast paced offenses and the most fashion-forward uniforms in organized sports. They proved that once again last Saturday when they sported the pink gear in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. Part of the plan was to auction off 25 of the pink helmets--some of them autographed-- to raise funds for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. ...

UCLA could rebound in a big way against No.2 Ducks

Jim Mora wants to make sure one loss doesn't derail UCLA. The No. 12 Bruins, coming off a disheartening loss to Stanford, have a chance for redemption - in a big way - against the No. 2 Oregon Ducks this Saturday. ''I don't think any one game ever really defines you. Whether you've arrived or you're not very good or whatever, I think it's your body of...

True freshmen making big impact for Bruins

LOS ANGELES -- Jim Mora's first recruiting class could be tough to beat. The class of 2013 has been one of the best in UCLA's recent history and one of the best in the country. Both lines have seen contributions coming from true freshmen and the Bruins' defense has especially benefited from the play of linebacker Myles Jack and defensive lineman Eddie Vanderdoes. Recently...
