It never fails, a few college football players around the country forgo great bowl gifts and a free trip to an exotic locale like San Antonio to (allegedly) curbstomp some random dude at the bar. Take these three Oregon State footballers. How did they blow off steam on their first real Saturday off? They allegedly curbstomped a guy. Via: Corvallis police arrested Rudolph (SIC) Fifita, Tyler Rosa and Dyllon Mafi. Police took Fifita to the Linn County Jail. Rosa and Mafi were taken to the Benton County Jail. According to Corvallis Police Lt. Cord Wood, the three players were at the Impulse Bar and Grill at 1425 NW Monroe when they got into an argument with a man and assaulted him. A second person got involved in the fight and was also assaulted, Wood said. Mafi, a junior linebacker, faces charges of assault (3rd degree), disorderly conduct and misrepresentation of age by a minor. He is being held on $161,000 bail. Rosa, a junior defensive tackle, faces charges of assault (3rd degree) and disorderly conduct (2nd degree). He is being held on $157,500 bail. Fifita, a senior defensive end, faces charges of assault (3rd degree) and disorderly conduct (2nd degree). He is being held on $157,500 bail. Don’t mind KVAL, the correct spelling of Fifita’s first name is Rudolf. We’ll assume that Mike Riley will be without these three when the Beavs play Texas in the Alamo Bowl. Ironically, Riley gave his players last week off from football and practice for the Alamo Bowl begins this morning. Filed under: Cuff 'Em, Football
