Oregon State celebrated their 27-20 win over UCLA in Los Angeles on Saturday in an awesome way. Coach Mike Riley delayed the team’s charter flight home to treat his players to In-N-Out Burger.

In-N-Out is a fast-food hamburger chain that originated in Southern California and only has restaurants in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Texas. Since they aren’t found in Oregon, Riley figured that would be a nice way to reward his players:

Just finished our business in LA, now it’s time for a little fun, headed to In-N-Out as a team!#GoBeavs2012

The players seemed to appreciate the reward. Defensive tackle Castro Masaniai tweeted the following:

in-n-out on Riley? don’t mind if i do #gobeavs #WinforBrick

As awesome as this gesture was, it’s not exactly an original idea — we’ve seen another Pac-12 school do something similar.

Riley may have gotten the idea to stop off at the restaurant from UCLA, which used In-N-Out logos on their play cards during the game:

With all the hungry football players in the house, you have to figure the bill was pretty high. Just think about Tim Lincecum’s crazy In-N-Out order and multiply that by 100 guys. I’m guessing the bill probably came out to around $1,000, but after wins over UCLA and Wisconsin, the Beavers are probably getting plenty of donations and can afford to splurge.
