The Oklahoma State Cowboys had a chance to move into the top 10 in the national rankings with a win Saturday. But the West Virginia Mountaineers of head coach Dana Holgorsen had other ideas, and upset the 11th-ranked Cowboys 30-21 in Morgantown, W.Va. West Virginia answers the bell against Oklahoma State

As we usually find out every Saturday in college football, what happens one week usually doesn't have much to do with what happens the next and West Virginia's victory of Oklahoma State on Saturday proved just that. "Our team bought in to just getting out there and playing ball. That's what they did. That was a heck of a ballgame," Dana Holgorsen said after...

Mountaineers, Holgorsen face No. 11 Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy can relate to Dana Holgorsen's rut at West Virginia. The Mountaineers are struggling to score one year after their offense was prolific but overshadowed by a struggling defense and a five-game losing streak. Gundy gets the chance to add to Holgorsen's headaches Saturday when No. 11 Oklahoma State (3-0, 0-0 Big 12) plays its conference opener...

Another game, another starting QB for West Virginia

That would be Florida State transfer Clint Trickett who Dana Holgorsen announced on Thursday would start for the Mountaineers against Oklahoma State Saturday in Morgantown. That makes three starting quarterbacks in five games for West Virginia which is obviously not an ideal situation. But given the offense's performance...

Another Challenge

After seeing the way his team played against Maryland a week ago, West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen wanted to see a quick turnaround from the Mountaineers. He didn't want to see them get too down after the loss with Oklahoma State coming into town.

OSU Arrives For Showdown With West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.V. - The big talk around the West Virginia University campus has to do with the change at quarterback to the third different player this season. Mountaineers head coach Dana Holgorsen would just as soon have Ford Childress back for his third start even though he only completed 11 passes for 62 yards in last week's loss to Maryland but a torn pectoral muscle obviously...

West Virginia to start QB Trickett against OSU

West Virginia plans to start its third starting quarterback in four games on Saturday. Florida State transfer Clint Trickett will earn his first start of the season when West Virginia hosts Oklahoma State, coach Dana Holgorsen said on his Thursday radio show. WVU QB Trickett to start against Oklahoma State

West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen said Thursday night that Clint Trickett will start at quarterback against No. 11 Oklahoma State in place of the injured Ford Childress.
