2012 was an tumultuous and exciting year for Jalen Saunders after he transferred from Fresno State to the Sooners.  He waited for the NCAA to rule on his eligibility and even though they made him sit out the first four games, he stills reeled in 62 passes for 829 yards and three touchdowns. As, we head into the 2013 season, Saunders will again be called on to provide some explosiveness offensively and on special teams.  All this from a 5’9″ receiver, who was never recruited initially by the Sooners.  Only after he decided to transfer out of Fresno did he become of interest to the Sooners.  Now, he is one of their main returning offensive weapons.
