1. Stanford (9-2) Yes, the headlines will be big as the Cardinal knocks the Ducks from the ranks of the undefeated and out of the BCS picture. It’s not that big of surprise to those who’ve been following both teams closely. Stanford’s offense outgained and out-rushed them. Stanford looked the better team from beginning to end. Best line from the game, when asked about the upset, Stanford Coach David Shaw; “We’re confident and we can improve - if we’d have just played better, it wouldn’t have been this close.” It’s true. Chip Kelly must be fuming. If not for two Stanford fumbles, this could’ve been worse. Shaw established himself as one of the most sought after coaches. If they beat UCLA, they get to play, um, UCLA in the Pac-12 title game. Two more wins and they go to a major bowl game. Looks like the post-Luck transition is going smoothly on The Farm as freshman Kevin Hogan is a smooth, confident, 25-26 for 211 yards passing while running for another 37 yards and a touchdown agains...

That hurts. That really hurts. Watching a national championship slip through the fingers of your college football team as the blood slips away from your body is just about as painful an experience as you can have in sports. There is a multitude of talking points and controversy and angles to analyze, scenarios to address, and for some of us, hair to pull out from Stanford'...
During the past four years, the Oregon Ducks have taught the Northwest how to win football games.
In a strictly elective class for the rest of the nation, but not in Oregon, Professor Chip Kelly moved the Ducks from the under-graduate ranks to graduate school.
He's produced teams that started Cum Laude, moved up to Magna Cum Laude, and reached for Summa Cum Laude.
Saturday night, it rained in Autzen Stadium.
For the second November in a row the Ducks' hope of a second appearance in the national championship game ended with missed field goals, missed blocks and loose footballs that bounced the other way.
Stanford's quick, physical defensive front didn't need a replay review to defeat Oregon at the line of scrimmage. The Ducks...
First Down. If you haven't taken notice of the Stanford Cardinal by now you need to start. Stanford is now 9-2 and fresh off a major road upset of #2 Oregon. The nation's top run defense stuffed the Ducks, holding them to just 198 yards on the ground. Twice Oregon tried to go for it on fourth down - something that's rather routine under Chip Kelly - and twice they were...
And it only took two losses for that to happen...
