Earlier today, it was announced that Oklahoma Sooners offensive lineman Gabe Ikard is the recipient of the 2013 Wuerffel Trophy, given annually to the college football player who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement. Ikard graduated last May with a 4.0 and is currently pursuing his second undergraduate degree, in human relations. He is also a member of the OU Leadership Team for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Of course, he has had a dominating season on the field as well, creating big holes to run through for Brennan Clay and Damien Williams. To celebrate him receiving the award, Oklahoma tweeted out a humorous fake ad for Gabe Ikard pancake mix, in honor of what he does to the people in front of him:

Oklahoma is right — look away and Ikard just might flatten you.
