The North Carolina Tar Heels, who have had a disappointing season thus far (3-5) in 2013, got more bad news when their star senior quarterback, Bryn Renner, was ruled out for the rest of the year after injuring his shoulder against NC State this past Saturday. UNC will rely on backup signal-caller Marquise Williams to right the ship, as the Heels need to win three of their last four games to become bowl eligible.
But to the opposition – which today is UVA – things may not look so different on the field. Williams will be wearing Renner’s No. 2 jersey to honor his injured teammate.

Renner’s college career may be over, but it’s pretty cool that his teammate wants to honor him in the team’s remaining games.
