An impressive and somewhat unexpected victory at Ohio State for Penn State, which this year is winning the close games. Lions at worst have tied for the Big Ten Leaders Division title, an outcome before the season that would have been considered not just a surprise but a stunner.
-- Big credit to Penn State coaches for the wildcat formation. Have to figure Lions will work in some pass plays in practice this week off the wildcat, to give Wisconsin even more to think about.
-- Stephfon Green has salvaged his season and possibly now will get a look in an NFL camp (considering he also does special teams work). Green just seems to have a burst.
-- Silas Redd took a lot of hard hits in the few times he was used. Have a feeling he will have a limited role vs. Wisconsin, too, especially with Green running well. (Also big props to coaches for using that running back-by-committee method for 239 yards rushing, which is very impressive vs. the Ohio State defense.)
