In the past 72 hours we've seen a lot of transfer news coming out of Wisconsin, first it was Danny O'Brien, then it was fellow QB Chase Knox, and now today, perhaps the most surprising of all the news comes out: redshirt freshman Reggie Mitchell is transferring from Wisconsin to Pitt.
At least that is what is being reported by media outlets in Pittsburgh and by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Jeff Potrykus.

This comes as a bit of a surprise since Mitchell ran all spring with the No. 1 defense at the safety spot next to Dezmen Southward. He was going to face some good competition from incoming JUCO transfer Donnell Vercher to say the least, but the position was going to be his for the taking in fall camp.
