ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi reported that #SouthCarolina DE Jadeveon Clowney ran a 4.5 40 at 270 pounds during the Gamecocks’ recent winter workouts.

If this turns out to be true, than he is a bigger athletic freak than it was previously thought. To run a 4.5 40-yard-dash at 6’6″ 270 lbs impresses me more than Chris Johnson running a 4.24 at 5’11″ 191 lbs. Teams are already salivating over Jadeveon Clowney, and reports like these are just going to make them wish he was eligible for the draft this year. Some team’s fanbases had “Suck for Luck” campaigns, how quickly will we see “Suck for Clowney” campaigns?
