Five TCU football players tested positive for marijuana use in a Feb. 1 drug test of the team, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Thursday. Another 11 tested positive for a trace amount within the test's margin of error, while 86 players tested negative. Marijuana was the only drug detected, according to the report. On Wednesday, four football players were arrested and accused of dealing marijuana to students and teammates, and two allegedly told police that drug use by Horned Frogs players was rampant. The four players -- linebacker Tanner Brock, defensive tackle D.J. Yendrey, offensive tackle Tyler Horn, and cornerback Devin Johnson -- posted bond and were released Wednesday night. They were dismissed from the team by coach Gary Patterson, who ordered surprise drug tests after reportedly hearing from a high-level recruit that he would not attend TCU because of drug use on the team.
