That’s the case for Indiana running back D’Angelo Roberts. The 5-10, 180-pound true freshman played his high school ball less than two miles away from Memorial Stadium for the Bloomington High School North Cougars. On Monday, Roberts was named the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week after a 101-yard performance this weekend against South Carolina State. Roberts is now IU’s leading rusher with 150 yards on the season. His touchdown against SC State remains his sole score of the year.
