BEST OF MAXIM
There is a good chance the Philadelphia Eagles will fire Andy Reid at the end of the season, and one name that has been mentioned as a possible replacement for him is Alabama coach Nick Saban. Legendary Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski is not willing to give Saban his endorsement. As you know, Saban left LSU for short stint with the Miami Dolphins from 2005-2006. He then left Miami...
Nick Saban spent time in Vienna, Ga. Thursday and the reason was Montravius Adams. Alabama is high on Adams' list and he may just over a month from announcing his decision.
We’ve been waiting for further visual evidence of Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron’s chest tattoo and it’s finally here. Thanks to Clay Travis, we’ve finally found the second iteration of the chest tattoo. The first one was just a picture of what looks like Jesus crying that didn’t take up the whole chest. Now we have the addition of “MVP”, “Home Team”...
A.J. McCarron’s chest tattoo has reached some sort of folklore status. When the Alabama quarterback’s ink job first appeared on the Internet last summer, the reactions were strong. Our own Steve DelVecchio called it “just embarrassing.” Others described it in far worse ways.
We later came to find out that the tattoo actually had some strong personal meaning for McCarron...
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference won't suspend Alabama defensive end Quinton Dial for a hit on Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.
The league said in a statement Friday that it had reviewed video of that play and others in the SEC championship game and that the two schools would handle any punishments internally.
Dial leveled Murray during a second-quarter interception...
The Alabama Crimson Tide received some good news prior to their BCS Championship Game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Starting quarterback A.J. McCarron is going to return for his senior season in Tuscaloosa. This announcement was made through a statement released by the school on Wednesday.
“I had many goals for myself when I came to the University of Alabama,” the junior...
Just like Auburn fans and their WarIrish apparel, Tennessee fans have adopted the Fighting Irish image to root against Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tennessee Volunteers are rivals with the Alabama Crimson Tide and are in the same conference as them. Sometimes teams choose to root for teams in their own conference to win bowl game. Not in this case.
We already have...
McCarron will be pimping more bow ties in Tuscaloosa in 2013.
Crimson Tide fans can quit wondering about Alabama starting quarterback A.J. McCarron's post-2013 BCS title game future. The bow tie-obsessed QB will be returning to Tuscaloosa next season for his senior year.
"I had many goals for myself when I came to the University of Alabama,"
Column: Don't fret, Alabama fans. Nick Saban is not leaving the Crimson Tide for the Cleveland Browns. Why would he leave his post as king of college football for the NFL? It's nonsensical.
How about this Kirk Herbstreit character. The guy watches so much film that he’s already breaking down the 2102 bowl season. We hear that upstart Northern Illinois is the team to beat and will be facing Alabama, coached by Nick Saban’s grandson.
In 2102, hundreds of Bama fans will have this tattoo.
Finally, who let Chris Jericho on stage with Springsteen?
