The jokes about Auburn are well known by now: they’re dirty, pay players, and have an overall filthy grime attached to that ‘all in’ concept they hold so dear. But folks, I’m hear to tell you, that’s all talk and hearsay until the NCAA finds something worth punishing them for. That said, it’s more than just chatter if the arrest sheets of your players (former, current, and future)are going the felonious route and high level prospects are getting kicked off football teams long before the season begins. Gene Chizik supporters have been diligent in their support of his efforts to bring Auburn back to their 2010 form—hiring new coaches, stepping up recruiting efforts, and promising a better brand of football than what many saw last year post Cam Newton. Even so, the negative chatter was once reserved for those who didn’t cheer for Auburn has now migrated to those who at least attempt to follow them with a more discerning eye—and those eyes are starting to see a trend that doesn’t brin...

AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn coach Gene Chizik has suspended center Reese Dismukes following the sophomore's arrest on a public intoxication charge.
Chizik says he is "very disappointed in Reese Dismukes for his irresponsible behavior" Friday night. The suspension comes eight days before Tigers open against Clemson in Atlanta's Georgia Dome.

With the arrival of college football less than a week away, it seems as if Auburn Tigers center Reese Dismukes is “Pre-gaming”. Friday night, Dismukes was arrested for public intoxication and released on a $300 bond, according to multiple media outlets.
Auburn is aware of the situation and still gathering facts. The punishment, if any, for Dismukes is unknown.
